Additional Ingredients required for 5 gallon batch:

7 lbs white table sugar or corn sugar

2 tsp Citric Acid

4 tsp yeast nutrient

2.5 tsp pectic enzyme

0.5 tsp wine tannin

5 campden tablets

1 packet wine yeast, lalvin K1-V1116 or EC-1118 recommended

2.5 tsp potassium sorbate to stabilize after fermentation

 

Additional ingredients required for 3 gallon recipe (more full bodied than 5 gl recipe)

4 lbs white table sugar or corn sugar

1 tsp citric acid

2.5 tsp yeast nutrient

1 tsp pectic enzyme

3 campden tablets

1 packet wine yeast

1.5 tsp potassium sorbate to stabilize after fermentation
